Key Metrics

Key Metrics allow you to see high-level KPIs of a List.

Tracks and Data Columns provide visibility and propel actionability to ongoing top-of-mind items. Key Metrics give you a high-level view of your most important KPIs.

To create Key Metrics:
  • Open the Key Metrics if it is closed by selecting Show Key Metrics in the settings“gear” icon.
  • Click +Add if no Key Metrics yet exist, or MORE if they do..
From here you can add Key Metrics based on data from your integrations (external data sources), manual entry, or from formulas you set up based on Data Columns or other Key Metrics.

Key Metric based on external source data:

  1. Click From integrations.
  2. Select the Live Data source.
  3. Authenticate and configure as needed.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions. Each external source is different.

Manual Key Metric:

  1. Click Manual.
  2. Give the Key Metric a name, and assign the type; text, number, date.
  3. Enter the initial value. This can be changed later but is needed for configuration.
  4. Assign optional notification rules, color emphasis settings, and number and date formatting in the Display & Follow-Up Settings window.
  5. Click Create Key Metric.

Formula-based Key Metric:

  1. Click Formula.
  2. Give the Key Metric a name.
  3. Select the formula function for the key metric; count, avg, sum, max, min.
  4. Select the formula conditions.
  5. Assign optional notification rules, color emphasis settings, and number and date formatting in the Display & Follow-Up Settings window.
  6. Click Create Key Metric.

Formula key metrics can be created using data from across other columns, even if the data is sourced from your external sources.
That’s it! You’re all set.
